Previous strategic-planning experience is helpful but not essential.

The programme is best suited to participants who already have some management, supervisory, project or decision-making responsibilities.

The programme focuses primarily on strategic thinking and foresight.

Participants will learn how to analyse complex situations, explore uncertainty and evaluate strategic options. It does not replace a full corporate strategic-planning exercise.

The programme introduces environmental scanning, trend analysis and scenario planning.

Scenario planning is not intended to predict one certain future. It helps leaders examine several plausible futures and prepare more resilient strategic responses.

The programme may briefly introduce visual strategy-alignment tools where relevant.

Detailed KPI design, Balanced Scorecard development and performance measurement should be covered in a separate specialist programme.
